India batting maestro Virat Kohli ended the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 in a perfect fashion, smashing a six off Arshad Khan to help Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) defend their title.

Virat Kohli's wild celebration after RCB win

Soon after guiding RCB to their second consecutive IPL title Kohli celebrated in style and celebrations broke out in the RCB camp, with players rushing onto the field to celebrate the historic win. The winning moment came when Kohli first brought the scores level with a classy boundary through the off side. A few deliveries later, he finished the match in style, launching a full ball from Arshad Khan over long-on for a huge six to seal the title for RCB.

How RCB chased in the final

Kohli once again led from the front during the run chase. He scored the fastest fifty of his IPL career and kept his cool even when RCB lost a few wickets in the middle overs. Holding one end together, he made sure the team stayed in control of the chase.

As the target came closer, the pressure eased and Kohli continued to guide the innings confidently. He got a lucky break earlier in the match when Shubman Gill dropped his catch, and from that moment, he made the most of the opportunity. Kohli also rotated the strike smartly and took charge when needed, including an important phase alongside Jitesh Sharma.
