Shikhar Dhawan on India vs Pakistan game

Veteran Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan confirmed to the media that he will not be taking part in the India-Pakistan game. Dhawan explained his judgment not to play the match given the recent "geopolitical" situation in the aftermath of the Pahalgam incident.

"Jo kadam 11 May ko liya, uspe aaj bhi waise hi khada hoon. Mera desh mere liye sab kuch hai, aur desh se badhkar kuch nahi hota. (I stand by the decision I took on May 11. My country is everything for me and nothing is bigger than the country)," Dhawan said in his post.
