IND vs PAK Asia Cup 2025 Final: Pakistan skipper Salman Ali Agha has finally reacted to the controversy around the ongoing tournament. This all started in the group stage clash when India skipper Suryakumar Yadav didn't shake hands before and after the match, and had also dedicated their win to the Indian Army. This move had left the Men in Green shocked and led to the PCB filing a complaint against arch-rivals India and the on-field umpire Andy Pycroft.

Reacting to the no-handshake saga, Pakistan skipper Salman Ali revealed that he had never seen a protest like this, even during the past when the relations were much worse between these two countries.

“I started playing U16 cricket in 2007. I never saw any teams not shaking hands. Even when Indo-Pak relations were worse, we still shook hands. So, in my opinion, no handshakes in cricket aren’t good in the game," Salman Agha told reporters during the pre-press match conference.

The Suryakumar Yadav-led side still didn't shake their hands during the Super match as well, where Pakistan lost by six wickets. And in this match, a few of the Pakistani players had also made provocative gestures while playing.

Sahibzada Farhan was seen making a 'gun celebration gesture' after scoring a fifty in the match against the Men in Blue. At the same time, fast bowler Haris Rauf was seen making a gesture of a plane going down, which looked like he was trying to make fun of the fans who took Kohli's name and reminded him of the match-winning sixes that the star batter had smashed in the 2022 T20 World Cup match.

Salman revealed that he won't stop any of the players from showing their expressions during the summit clash against India, but also warned them not to be disrespectful.

“Every individual has the right to express emotions. If we stop fast bowlers from showing emotions, what’s left then? I won’t stop anyone as long as it is not disrespectful," he added.

Agha also talked about how they lost the last two matches to the same opponent, and the reason behind this was that they were committing more mistakes as compared to their arch-rivals.

“India versus Pakistan matches come with a baggage of pressure. In the last two games, we lost because we made more mistakes," he concluded.
