WPL 2026 Points Table: Mumbai Indians defeated the Gujarat Giants by 7 wickets in match 6 of the Women's Premier League 2025-26 at the DY Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai on Tuesday. The two-time champions produced another dominating effort and maintained their winning run. Having kicked off their campaign with a defeat in the first match, the Mumbai Indians registered their second win of the season.
They have jumped to second place in the WPL 2026 standings. On the back of a memorable effort from their skipper, Harmanpreet Kaur, MI chased down the 193-run target in 19.2 overs. This was the second-highest run chase in WPL history as they maintained their incredible record against the Gujarat Giants. MI have now won each of their eight games vs GG-W in the WPL.
Talking about Harmanpreet, the veteran batter has become only the second player in the WPL history after Nat Sciver-Brunt to go past the 1000-run mark. MI have two wins and four points under their belt. On the other hand, the Gujarat Giants slipped to the third position after suffering their first defeat of the season. The Royal Challengers Bengaluru continue to remain at the top of the table with wins in their first two games. They remain the only undefeated side in the tournament so far.
Delhi Capitals and the UP Warriorz are yet to register a win and are placed fourth and fifth, respectively. They will face each other on Wednesday.
