WPL 2024 Mumbai Indians Full Squad: Defending champions Mumbai Indians acquired five players in the players auction in Mumbai on Saturday. South Africa pacer Shabnim Ismail was the costliest among others as the franchise spent Rs 1.2 crore to sign her in the team.

The four buys from the franchise came from domestic talents including three all-rounders Sajana S, Amandeep Kaur and Keerthana Balakrishnan and spinner Fatima Jaffer. Apart from Sanjana, the other three players were bagged by Mumbai Indians at the base price of Rs 10 lakh. Sajana was bought by MI for Rs 15 lakh.

For the second season, Mumbai Indians will be led by Harmanpreet Kaur while Charlotte Edwards will head coach the side along with bowling coach and team Mentor Jhulan Goswami.

Mumbai Indians headed to the auction with a purse of Rs 2.1 crore to fill five players in the squad after releasing Dhara Gujjar, Heather Graham*, Neelam Bisht and Sonam Yadav.
