What was Rohit Sharma's famous stump-mic moment?
The post reminded fans of Rohit Sharma's famous stump-mic moment during India's tour of Australia.
The incident happened in the Boxing Day Test of the 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Jaiswal was fielding at silly point while Ravindra Jadeja was bowling to Steve Smith. As Smith defended the ball, Jaiswal stood up a little too early.
Rohit, who was nearby, immediately told the youngster to stay low until the batter had finished playing the shot.

Jaiswal to be seen in action vs Sri Lanka
The left-handed opener is expected to partner KL Rahul at the top of the order when India begin the first Test against Sri Lanka at the Galle International Stadium on August 15.
Jaiswal's Test career so far
Since making his Test debut in 2023 under Rohit Sharma's captaincy, Jaiswal has impressed with consistent performances. He scored 2535 runs in just 29 Tests, including seven centuries and 13 half-centuries. His last Test outing came against Afghanistan in June.
During England's tour of India in 2024, he became only the third Indian batter after Vinoo Mankad and Virat Kohli to score two double centuries in the same Test series.
India will hope for another strong performance from the young opener as they begin their new World Test Championship campaign. Before the action starts in Galle, though, Jaiswal has already entertained fans with a light-hearted tribute to Rohit's unforgettable advice.
