Ghazanfar rattles Zimbabwe in Harare

While bowling first, Afghanistan skittled the hosts out for just 127 runs in 30.1 overs on the back of Ghazanfar's brilliant performance. The youngster registered figures of 10-0-33-5 and thus gave the Zimbabwe batters a hard time.

Ghazanfar dismissed batters like Joylord Gumbie, Ben Curran, Tadiwanashe Marumani, Wellington Masakadza, and Newman Nyamhuri.

Except for Sean Williams, who scored a gritty knock of 60 runs off 61 balls, in which he had smashed six fours and three sixes, and except him all the other Zimbabwe batters failed to perform.

Ghazanfar has taken 21 wickets in the 50-over format till now at an economy rate of 4.05. He might not have represented Afghanistan in the shortest format yet, but in T20 league cricket he has taken 29 wickets after playing in 16 matches and that also includes two four-fers.

By making a dream start to his international career, Mumbai Indians also roped in Ghazanfar for a whopping amount of Rs 4.80 crore.
