To enhance safety for passengers, the NCRTC has established a new police post near the Anand Vihar Namo Bharat station. The newly established post has been formally handed over to the Delhi Police.
Under the initiative, passengers can now receive immediate police assistance in an emergency. The post has been built near Gate No. 2 of Anand Vihar station and will operate under the jurisdiction of the Patparganj Industrial Area police station.

Thousands of passengers, including a large number of women, travel on the Namo Bharat train daily. Anand Vihar station is one of the busiest stations on the Namo Bharat corridor. The establishment of the police post will further strengthen passenger safety and allow for complaints regarding incidents at the station or on the train to be registered.
The NCRTC plans to establish police posts at all Namo Bharat stations on the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut corridor, with construction work ongoing at New Ashok Nagar, Guldhar, and Duhai stations, while posts at the Sahibabad and Ghaziabad stations have already been completed and handed over to security agencies.

To ensure passenger safety, CCTV cameras have been installed in all stations and trains, which are monitored 24/7 by the Central Security Control Centre. Additionally, checks are conducted at entrance gates with multi-zone metal detectors to ensure that travel on Namo Bharat remains convenient and safe.
