A 25-year-old man lost his life in the Sultanpuri area of Outer Delhi on Monday after allegedly losing control of his motorcycle while performing a stunt. Police officials confirmed the incident on Tuesday, stating that the rider collided with a divider and subsequently crashed into an e-rickshaw.

The Incident

The accident occurred on Monday while the victim was returning from a wedding ceremony.

Sequence of Events: The victim, along with his cousin Yash and friend Anshu, had stopped their motorcycle near a hospital. According to investigators, while Anshu went to a nearby grocery shop to buy water, the victim allegedly began performing stunts on the bike.

The Crash: He reportedly lost control of the vehicle and rammed into a road divider. The impact caused him to fall onto the road, where he collided with an e-rickshaw coming from the opposite lane.

Police Response: A PCR call was received regarding the accident and a crowd gathering at the spot. However, the caller was unable to explain exactly how the accident unfolded at the time.

Victim Details

The deceased has been identified as Shivam, a resident of Wazirpur.

Occupation: Shivam worked as a housekeeper for an online grocery delivery firm in Patel Nagar.

Background: On the day of the incident, he had been playing the drums at a wedding with his cousin Yash and friend Anshu, both of whom perform at local events. 

Aftermath

Shivam was rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared dead by doctors. The police have registered a case regarding the matter, and further investigations are underway.
