Delhi Red Fort Blast: New revelations have emerged about Dr Shaheen Saeed, the key suspect in the Delhi Red Fort blast case. Investigators say that after finishing her day job at Al-Falah School of Medical Sciences & Research Center in Faridabad, she would begin her “real work” only after 4 PM.

Officials said she carried a rosary (known in Islam as misbaha or tasbih) and a hadith book (a collection of Prophet Muhammad's teachings), and her colleagues described her 'strange behaviour', noting that she often left without informing anyone.

The institute, which has been served a show-cause notice by the NAAC, has distanced itself from the Red Fort attack and pledged cooperation with the investigation and "unwavering commitment to the security of the nation".

Days after a large cache of explosive material was recovered from Faridabad in Haryana, and several doctors including a female doctor were arrested, the initial probe revealed that Dr Shaheen Saeed had been assigned the task of setting up the women’s wing of Jaish-e-Mohammad.
