Delhi Fire:A fire broke out at the residence of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Ravi Shankar Prasad in New Delhi on Wednesday morning. Upon receiving information about the fire, local police and fire department teams immediately rushed to the spot. The official said it was immediately known if Prasad was home at the time of the incident. The fire broke out in some furniture kept in one of the bed rooms of the house.
A call regarding the fire at the Patna Sahib MP's residence was received around 8.05 am. Firefighters and police brought the fire under control.

According to the authorities, the fire broke out at around 8:00 a.m. in one of the bedrooms of the residence.

What Fire Department Said
A Delhi Fire Services (DFS) official said, "A fire broke out at the official residence of BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad on Mother Teresa Crescent Marg in New Delhi on Wednesday morning." There were no casualties in the incident.
Three fire tenders were rushed to the spot and the blaze was brought under control by 8.35 am. No one was injured in the incident, he said. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. Delhi Police's Forensics Team was also at the spot. An investigation into the cause of the fire is also underway. However, the cause of the fire is not yet known.
