Under Operation Milap, the Delhi Police reunited 84 missing and abducted individuals, including 30 children, with their families in November, officials said on Tuesday. With this, the total number of people traced by district police this year has risen to 1,201, comprising 399 children and 882 adults.

According to a police statement, teams launched immediate search operations upon receiving reports of missing persons. Local inquiries, CCTV analysis, and the circulation of photographs at auto stands, e-rickshaw stands, bus stops, and railway stations proved instrumental.

Police also questioned bus drivers, conductors and shopkeepers, while records of nearby police stations and hospitals were thoroughly checked. Local informants were actively involved in the operation.

Officials said that among those located were five missing minors aged 10 to 18 (two boys and three girls) and 14 adults (eight men and six women). Staff from Vasant Kunj North police station also traced two missing adults, one man and one woman.
