Telangana Overseas Scholarship: The Telangana State Government has launched the Ambedkar Overseas Scheme to offer financial support to Scheduled Caste students aiming to pursue higher education abroad. Through this scheme, each selected student will receive a scholarship of up to Rs 20 lakhs.

Aim of the Ambedkar Overseas Scholarship 2025-26:

This scheme aims to provide financial assistance to talented Scheduled Caste (SC) students to pursue higher education abroad. Implemented by the Telangana State Scheduled Caste Development Department, this initiative provides scholarships to several students annually.

Benefit Of Ambedkar Overseas Scholarship 2025-26

Under the Ambedkar Overseas Scholarship (Ambedkar Vidyanidhi Scheme), Scheduled Caste students can receive scholarships of up to 20 lakh rupees for studying abroad, giving them the opportunity to enroll in foreign universities.

This scheme will help students fulfill their educational aspirations, including covering expenses such as fees and visa expenses. Students can study in countries like the US, the UK, Australia, and Canada. Every year, many students benefit from this scheme and pursue higher education abroad.

According to District Scheduled Caste Development Officer M. Venkateshwarlu, applications are being invited from Scheduled Caste students in the Jayashankar Bhupalpally district for the Ambedkar Pravasi Shiksha Nidhi Scheme 2025-26. Students from the district are encouraged to apply for this opportunity to study in foreign universities.

Ambedkar Overseas Scholarship 2025-26: Eligibility

As per the official information, applicants' parents' annual income should not exceed 5 lakh rupees, and only one student per family is eligible. The government will provide scholarships of up to 20 lakh rupees to selected students for higher education in countries like the US, Australia, London, and Canada.

The official notice states, "Up to Rs 20 lakh or as per the admission form, whichever is lower. One-way economic ticket and visa fee. Only one child per family is eligible. 60% marks in graduation and qualifying marks in GRE/GMAT and English proficiency test as per government orders."

Interested and eligible students can apply with complete details on the website telanganaepass.cgg.gov.in till November 19. Those applying online are advised to submit the application form to the office of the District Scheduled Caste Development Officer.
