Andhra Pradesh NEET PG Phase 1 2023: The Andhra Pradesh National Eligibility Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling 2023 first phase postgraduate medical admissions have been cancelled by YSR University of Health Sciences. The decision was made as a result of a fraudulent letter of authorization sent to Santhiram Medical College by the president of the Medical Assessment and Rating Board (MARB)'s behalf.
The university first put on hold the NEET PG phase 1 admission into the competent authority quota for in-service and out-of-service applicants as well as the management quota for PG medical seats. The YSRUHS just announced the suspension of admissions.
“In the reference cited NMC, New Delhi has released a Public Notice duly informing that Fake/Forged Letter of permission was issued on behalf of Member/President, MARB, NMC, New Delhi,” YSRUHS said initially.
NMC made it clear that MARB had not given Santhiram Medical College, Kurnool, letters of renewal or authorization to increase MS seats. It cautioned against the use of fake letters of authorization for the expansion of the number of seats in the MS ENT program from one to four and the MS Ophthalmology program from five to ten.
The announcement for NEET PG counselling 2023 phase 1 for exercising web options and revised seat matrix will be made available soon, according to YSRUHS.
