Mega DSC Notification:  The District Selection Committee (DSC) of the Andhra Pradesh School Education Department will release the notification for teacher recruitment shortly. According to media reports, the AP DSC notification is likely to be released today, November 6, 2024. However, the exact date and time are yet to be released by the committee. Once released, candidates will be able to check and download the AP mega DSC notification at apdsc.apcfss.in.

The AP DSC notification will include the details of a number of vacancies, registration dates, eligibility, application process, selection criteria, and other important details.

According to the media report, the expected number of vacancies will be 16,347 posts. This includes 6,371 positions for Secondary Grade Teachers (SGT), 7,725 for School Assistants (SA), 1,781 for Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT), 286 for Postgraduate Teachers (PGT), 52 for Principals, and 132 for Physical Education Teachers (PET). Candidates are advised to wait for the official AP DSC notification for detailed information.

The APTET July exam results were declared on November 4, with 368,661 candidates appearing for the test. Of these, 187,256 candidates, or 50.79 per cent, successfully passed. AP Education Minister Nara Lokesh, while announcing the results, confirmed that the government will soon release the mega DSC notification.
