Bank Recruitment 2026: There are several candidates who have a dream of building a successful career in the banking sector. India’s banking sector provides numerous career opportunities for candidates throughout the year. Every year, millions of candidates appear for several banking examinations. There are various bank recruitment exams such as SBI PO, SBI Clerk, IBPS RRb Exam, NABARD, IBPS Clerk Exam. Here, we bring to you the top upcoming banking exams that will take place in 2026.
1. SBI Clerk: The SBI Clerk Exam for Junior Associates will be conducted by the State Bank of India on yearly basis to recruit eligible candidates for the post of the Junior Associates. The recruitment exam is expected to take place around September-October 2026. The SBI Clerk examination is conducted for securing a job in a government-owned (Public Sector) bank. The selection process includes three stages such as (Prelims, Mains, Language Test). The candidates must have these skills for clearing SBI Clerk Exam.

2. IBPS PO: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts the IBPS PO recruitment examination on an annual basis. This recruitment exam is conducted for recruiting candidates for the post of the Probationary Officers in public sector banks. The recruitment stages include the Preliminary Exam, the Mains Exam, and the Interview Process. The candidates have to qualify each and every stage to be eligible for the recruitment of the IBPS PO. The exam is expected to be held around August-October 2026.The candidates must have these skills for clearing IBPS PO Exam.

3. SBI PO: The State Bank of India conducts the SBI PO Exam every year to hire eligible candidates for the position of the PO. The tentative SBI PO 2026 exam dates are around March-April 2026. It is usually take place for recruiting candidates in public sector Bank. The recruitment stages for the SBI PO 2026 includes three stages such as:
1. Preliminary Exam (Phase 1)
2. Main Examination (Phase 2)
3. Group Exercises & Interview (Phase 3)
4. IBPS RRB: The IBPS RRB Recruitment Exam 2026 will be conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) every year. The IBPS RRB job is conducted for hiring candidates for government jobs because Regional Rural Banks. The Yes, an IBPS RRB job is considered a government job because Regional Rural Banks are expected to be conducted around August-November 2026. The selection process for the IBPS RRB includes:
1.Officer Assistant Clerk)
2. Officer Scale 1 (PO)
3. Officer Scale II & III (Specialist Officers)
5. IBPS Clerk: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is the authority that conducts the IBPS Clerk Exam for Customer Service Associates (CSA) every year to recruit candidates in several public sector banks. The IBPS Clerk exam 2026 is expected to take place around November-December 2026. The recruitment procedure includes these stages such as the Preliminary Exam and the Mains Exam. There's no interview round for the selection of the IBPS Clerk Positions as final selection is based on Mains scores.
6. NABARD: The National Bank of Agriculture and Rural Development conducts the NABARD Grade A examination on an annual basis to recruit candidates for the position of the Assistant Managers in several disciplines. This recruitment exam has two sections: Grade A and Grade B. The NABARD Exam dates for 2026 has mentioned below:
1.Phase 1 (Prelims) Exam: December 20, 2025.
2. Phase 2 (Mains) Exam: January 25, 2026.

7. IBPS SO ( Specialist Officer): The IBPS SO (Specialist Officer) recruitment examination is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) on a yearly basis for candidates appearing for several roles such as IT, Agriculture, HR, Law in various Indian public sector banks. The IBPS IBPS SO ( Specialist Officer) is expected to be conducted around August 2026, Mains in November/December 2026, and Interviews in Dec 2026/Jan 2027 although these dates are tentative.
