Bihar NMMS 2025: The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) in Bihar has begun the application process for the National Merit-cum-Means Scholarship Scheme (NMMS) 2025 exam. Interested and eligible candidates who want to apply for the Bihar NMMS 2025 scholarship can submit the applications at scert.bihar.gov.in.

According to the schedule, the deadline for candidates to submit their NMMS Scholarship 2025 application will be December 1, 2024. The Bihar NMMSS 2025 exam will be conducted on January 19, 2025. The admit cards to be released by January 13, 2025. Only candidates who complete their online application submission successfully will receive their Bihar NMMSS 2025 admit card.

To qualify for the NMMS scholarship, students must meet the following eligibility criteria:

- Class Requirement: Applicants must be enrolled in Class 8 for the 2024-2025 academic year.

- Minimum Marks: Students should have scored at least 55 per cent in their Class 7 exams (50 per cent for SC/ST students).

- Family Income: The combined annual income of both parents should not exceed Rs 3.5 lakh.

- School Type Exclusion: Students attending Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV), Sainik schools, or private institutions are not eligible for the scholarship.

Step 1: Go to the official website-- scert.bihar.gov.in

Step 2: Click on the link NMMSS 2025 application

Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen and candidates will have to register themselves

Step 4: Now candidates will have to fill out the application form
