BPSC 70th CCE Exam: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has declared that applicants who took the BPSC 70th CCE exam in Patna will be able to retake it. The BPSC Combined Competitive Examination (BPSC 70th CCE) for the cancelled exam will now take place on January 4.
On Thursday, the commission met a full-bench meeting to discuss the cancellation of the exam scheduled for December 13 at the Bapu Examination Complex in Patna. It further advised applicants that a full notification about the BPSC 70th CCE re-exam would be posted on the official website, bpsc.bih.bic.in.
Around 4.80 lakh students who enrolled for the BPSC 70th CCE exam took the recruitment test last Friday at 945 centres. Applicants who attended the Bapu exam centre said that the BPSC 70th CCE paper had been leaked. They claimed that the seal on the question paper had been broken.
The commission has rejected accusations about technical difficulties in the platform, calling them 'baseless' allegations. Considering the higher interest of students, the BPSC decided not to postpone the exam. This comes after a huge number of students demanded that the exam date be extended since they were unable to finish the application process, resulting in their missed opportunity to stand for the recruitment exam.
The commission's revised exam structure and various shifts were also met with opposition from aspirants. Later, the BPSC announced that the BPSC 70th exam would be held on a single day, following the former pattern. The BPSC refused to postpone the exam earlier, claiming that if it was, the recruiting process would be delayed by 5-6 months.
Applicants who registered in the Patna exam centre should expect to see details about their admit cards and exam times on the official website soon. The recruitment exam was held from 12 noon to 2 p.m.
