BPSC 70th Exam Date 2024: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has postponed the 70th Combined Competitive Examination (BPSC 70th CCE). Initially scheduled for November, the exam has been postponed to December. According to media reports, the preliminary Examination (PT), which was initially set for November 17, will now take place between December 13 and 14.

In a letter to all District Magistrates, the BPSC cited "unavoidable reasons" for the postponement of the exam. Over 8 lakh candidates are expected to take the BPSC recruitment examination, which will be held at various centers across the state. The BPSC has requested district officials to provide details on the availability of basic amenities, which will be used to determine the exam centers.

The BPSC 70th notification was issued last month, with registration commencing on September 28, 2024. Eligible candidates can register until October 18. Applications submitted after the last date will not be accepted by the Commission. Selection will be based on candidates' performance in the preliminary exam, mains exam, and interview round.

This recruitment drive aims to fill 1,957 positions, including Sub Divisional Officer/Senior Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Commandant, Superintendent, Sub Registrar, Sub Election Officer, Assistant Director, District Minority Welfare Officer, Sugarcane Officer, Employment Officer, Assistant Planning Officer, Additional District Transport Officer, and various other roles.

Step 1: Go to the official website-- onlinebpsc.bihar.gov.in

Step 2: Click on the registration link

Step 3: Now log in with a valid email ID, mobile number, and password

Step 4: Candidates will have to enter the required details and upload the documents

Step 5: Pay the application fee and click on the submit button
