BSSTET registration 2023: The registration date for the Bihar Special School Teacher Eligibility Test (BSSTET) 2023 has been extended by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB). The deadline for applications has been extended until December 27, 2023.
Candidates who have not yet applied for BSSTET 2023 can do so on the official website of BSEB at bsebstet.com. The BSEB intends to fill a total of 7,279 positions, including 5,534 for certified special teachers in Classes 1–5 and 1,745 for Classes 6–8.
Candidates from the general category, the Economically Weaker Section (EWS), the backward class, and the severely backward class must pay Rs 960 for one paper and Rs 1,440 for both papers (Paper 1 and 2).
Candidates from the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Divyang communities, on the other hand, must pay Rs 760 for a single paper. Candidates who apply for both papers must pay Rs 1140.

The paper is 2 hours and 30 minutes long. There will be 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in total. For each accurate answer, candidates will receive one point.
BSSTET 2023: Passing marks
The following are the BSSTET 2023 cut-off marks:
- General: 50% marks
- Backward class: 45.5% marks
- Extremely backward class: 42.5% marks
- Schedule caste and Schedule tribe: 40% marks
- Person with disability: 40% marks
- Woman: 40% marks
How to register for BSSTET 2023?
Candidates can apply for BSSTET 2023 by following the instructions below.
Step 1: Visit the official website of BSEB at bsebstet.com.
Step 2: After this, click on BSSTET 2023 registration link, on the homepage.
Step 3: Now candidates have to register themselves with the necessary details.
Step 4: Candidates have to login into the account using the credentials.
Step 5: Fill out the BSSTET 2023 application form and pay the application fees.
Step 5: Download the application form and take a printout for further reference.
