ICAI CA Final Exam: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has made a significant announcement by deciding to conduct the CA Final examinations three times a year. This shift from the biannual schedule to a thrice-a-year cycle will commence in 2025, with exams scheduled for January, May, and September. This move aligns with global best practices and follows the earlier introduction of a similar exam cycle for Intermediate and Foundation courses.

The decision is designed to offer students more flexibility and increased opportunities, enhancing their career prospects. Additionally, the Assessment Test for the Post Qualification Course in Information Systems Audit (ISA) will also be conducted three times a year, in February, June, and October.

Benefits of the New Exam Schedule

The introduction of an additional exam cycle is expected to reduce waiting times for candidates and provide faster reattempt options. This will accelerate the completion of the CA qualification, aligning with international examination standards. With over 10 lakh students and approximately 4 lakh members, ICAI’s decision is seen as a significant step forward in modernizing the examination system. It demonstrates the institute’s commitment to providing accessible and equitable opportunities to candidates across the country.
