CAT 2024: The Indian Institution of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta) will begin Common Admission Test 2024 (CAT 2024) registration tomorrow, August 1. Interested and eligible applicants can fill out the CAT 2024 registration form by going to the official website, iimcat.ac.in. The CAT 2024 registration window will close on September 13.

The CAT 2024 examination will be conducted on November 24. The CAT 2024 admit card will be distributed on November 4. The CAT 2024 exam will be administered in three shifts: 8:30 am to 10:30 am, 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, and 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. The CAT 2024 exam will be held online.

The CAT 2024 exam will consist of three sections: verbal ability and reading comprehension (VARC), data interpretation and logical reasoning (DILR), and quantitative aptitude (QA). There will be 66 questions in the CAT 2024 paper. According to the CAT 2024 marking structure, students will receive three marks for each valid answer and one mark for each erroneous response. There will be no negative grading for wrong responses.

CAT 2024:Application fees

Applicants must pay the CAT 2024 application cost to finish the registration process. Aspirants can view the CAT 2024 application fee details below.

- General: Rs 2,500

- Economically Weaker Section (EWS): Rs 2,500

- Scheduled Caste (SC): Rs 1,250

- Scheduled Tribe (ST): Rs 1,250

- Person with Disabilities (PwD): Rs 1,250

CAT 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants can view the CAT 2024 eligibility conditions below.

- To take the CAT exam 2024, students must have a bachelor's degree from a recognized university with a CGPA of at least 50% (45% for SC, ST, and PwD/DA categories).

- Degree duration and mode: The degree must be a three-year program that can be completed in normal, distance, or online modes.

- Final year students: Applicants in their final year or awaiting degree results can apply for the CAT exam 2024.

- Professional degrees such as CA, CS, ICWA, or FCAI are also accepted.

- Work experience: The CAT exam is offered to both new graduates and working professionals. Although not required, employment experience is desirable throughout the admissions process following the CAT exam.
