CAT 2024 Exam: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta is scheduled to conduct the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 today, November 24, 2024. The CAT 2024 exam will be conducted in three shifts across multiple examination centers nationwide. Candidates must bring their CAT 2024 admit card along with the valid ID proof to the exam hall. Candidates who fail to bring the CAT 2024 hall ticket will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.

Essential Items to Bring to the Exam

Candidates must ensure they have the following items when appearing for CAT 2024:

- A hard copy of the hall ticket on A4-size paper.
- Any of the following - Aadhar card, PAN card, or Indian passport.
- A scribe affidavit, if applicable

Items Strictly Prohibited in the Exam Hall

To maintain the integrity of the examination, the following items are not allowed:

- Mobile phones and Bluetooth devices.
- Any electronic devices, including smartwatches.
- Metal jewellery and footwear with thick soles.
- Garments featuring large buttons.

Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates must follow these key dos and don’ts to ensure a smooth experience:

- Bring the printed admit card and original ID proof.
- Ensure a recent passport-size photograph matching the one submitted in the application is affixed to the admit card.
- Drop the admit card in the designated box after completing the exam.
- Use only the pen and scribble pad provided at the center, and return them post-exam.
- The keyboard is disabled; candidates should use only the mouse for navigation.
- Items like mobile phones, gadgets, calculators, and personal stationery are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall.
