CBSE Board Exam 2024 10th, 12th Class: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will commence the CBSE Board Exam 2024 today, on February 15. The CBSE Class 10 board examination will be held from February 15 to March 13, 2024, while the Class 12 board examination will be held from February 15 to April 2, 2024. This year, over 39 lakh students from 26 Indian and international nations will take the test. The CBSE Class 10, 12 test 2024 is set to begin at 10:30 a.m. on all test days; however, the bulk of papers will conclude by 1:30 p.m., with some exams ending at 12:30 p.m. Students should be at their exam centres at least 30 to 45 minutes before the start of the exam.

Amid the farmer's protest in Delhi, the board has advised the students to leave their homes early and reach their respective exam centres well in advance to avoid traffic snarls due to the current farmer protest situation in Delhi. Students can also take metro services to get to the exam centres. The CBSE has encouraged students to arrive at or before 10 a.m. since the exam begins at 10:30 a.m.

"Since the examination starts at 10.30 am, all students are instructed to reach their examination centres on or before 10.00 am. Due to the prevailing situation in Delhi, it is expected that there will be traffic-related problems which may cause delay in reaching the examination centre. Therefore, all students are advised to leave their homes early so that they can reach on time as per the instructions issued by CBSE. It is advisable to use metro services to reach the examination centres, which are running smoothly," reads the notification.

CBSE Class 10 and 12 Exam: Day Guidelines

The board has provided some critical advice for students to follow on exam day. Below are some of the important guidelines to follow:

- Students should be at the test centre at least 30 minutes before the exam hour.

- No students will be permitted to write the exam if they do not have their CBSE admit card, therefore keep it with you.

- Sharing materials is not permitted in the test room; thus, bring your stationery.

- Do not bring any unapproved materials to the examination hall.

- Students who use any technological devices or unfair means in the examination hall must note that the board reserves the right to cancel their examination at any moment, so do not engage in such activities.

CBSE Board Exam 2024: Timings

The CBSE Class 10 and 12 examinations 2024 will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. However, certain tests will be held between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. The CBSE board will hold Class 10 examinations from February 15 to March 13, 2024, and Class 12 exams from February 15 to April 2, 2024.
