CBSE Board Exams 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the board examination for the academic session 2026 for Class 12 Physics on February 20, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. The Board has officially announced the board examination schedule for 2026 for both classes 10 and 12 on their official website. Students can now not only view the HSC and SSC exam dates from the website.
The CBSE will hold the Class 12th Physics board examination in 2026 based on a specific, structured pattern and format which includes 70 marks for the theory examination and 30 marks for the practical section. Students pursuing science stream often find Class 12 Physics more difficult than other subjects. To prepare better, students must understand the Class 12 Physics board weightage which is mentioned below in this article.

TOTAL Marks | 30 |
The CBSE Class 12 Physics paper conducted in the year 2025 was considered moderately difficult, it was extremely lengthy and required strong time management. Students found the question paper a balanced mix of theoretical and numerical questions curated from every unit, but some numerical problems were difficult to solve, and certain MCQs were tough to guess.
