The Prayagraj region in Uttar Pradesh has the lowest pass percentage among all the 16 regions with only 78 per cent candidates passing the exam.

Board has decided not to publish merit list or topper list of class 12 to prevent unhealthy competition between students. As per the board, it will award merit certificates to the 0.1 per cent of students who have scored the highest marks in subjects.

The CBSE class 12 results record that girls have outperformed boys by 6.01 per cent.

Pune region has recorded a pass percentage of 87.28 per cent in the CBSE Class 12 exams.

The pass percentage for CBSE Class 12 Result 2023 is 87.33 per cent. Last year's pass percentage was 92.71 per cent.

According to the last year’s data, in the CBSE class 10 board exam as many as 64908 candidates scored above 95 per cent marks and over 2.3 lakh candidates scored 90 per cent marks and above. In class 12 the overall percentage stood at 92.71 per cent.
