CBSE Class 12 Results 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has introduced several support facilities to help students and parents resolve doubts after the declaration of the Class 12 Board Examination Results 2026. The initiative includes a tele-counselling helpline and email support aimed at guiding students through result-related concerns and the post-result process.

 

According to the board, students, parents, and schools can contact official platforms for clarification regarding examinations, results, and evaluation procedures. The board stated that the initiative is intended to provide timely guidance and reduce stress among students during the post-result period.

CBSE Launches Helpline and Email Support for Students

The Central Board of Secondary Education announced that students and parents can access tele-counselling services for queries related to results, examinations, and evaluation procedures. The helpline number 1800-11-8004 has been activated to provide important information and emotional support to students.

Additionally, students can also send their queries through the official email resultcbse2026@cbseshiksha.in. The board has cautioned students not to send emails to resultcbse2026@gmail.com, stating that the email account has been accessed without authorization.

Through these platforms, students and parents can receive guidance, clarification, and assistance from the board. CBSE emphasised that it remains committed to supporting students and addressing their concerns with sensitivity during the post-result process.

CBSE Class 12 Result 2026: Key Statistics

The Central Board of Secondary Education declared the Class 12 Board Examination Results 2026, recording an overall pass percentage of 85.20 per cent, which is 3.9 per cent lower than last year.

A total of 18,57,517 students registered for the examination this year. As in previous years, girls outperformed boys, recording a pass percentage of 88.86 per cent, while boys achieved 82.13 per cent. Transgender students achieved a 100 per cent pass rate, according to the board.

The board also stated that it does not release a traditional merit list to discourage unhealthy competition among students. However, 5.32 per cent of students (94,028 candidates) scored 90 per cent and above, while 0.97 per cent (17,113 candidates) secured 95 per cent and above.

Among regions, Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum) emerged as the top-performing region with 95.62 per cent pass rate, followed by Chennai (93.84 per cent) and Bengaluru (93.19 per cent). In the national capital, Delhi West recorded a 92.34 per cent pass rate, while Delhi East reported 91.73 per cent.

Institution-wise, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan schools recorded a 98.55 per cent pass rate, while Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya institutions achieved 98.47 per cent, making them the top-performing school systems.
