CBSE Class 10 Science Sample Paper: The Central Board of Secondary Education will hold the Class 10 CBSE Science Exam on Thursday, February 20. The CBSE Class 10 examination began on February 15 and will go on till March 18. The education board had released the admit cards for the CBSE Class 10 board exam 2025 on its official website, cbse.nic.in.
The CBSE Science paper will cover topics such as World of Living, Chemical Substances-Nature and Behaviour, Effects of Electric Current, Natural Phenomena and Natural Resources. The time duration of the Science examination will be 3 hours, between 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM, according to the timetable released by CBSE.
CBSE Class 10 Science Sample Paper: Structure And Content
The CBSE Science exam paper is divide into five sections, and has 39 questions in total.
Section A: The first section carries a total of 20 questions for 1 mark each. Of these, Question No. 1-16 are Multiple Choice (MCQ) and Question 17-20 Assertion-Reasoning type questions.
Section B: The second section carries six Short Answer questions (Q.21-26) for 2 marks each.
Section C: The next section comprises seven Short Answer questions (Q.27-33) carrying 3 marks each.
Section D: Question No. 34-36 are three Long Answer type questions and carry 5 marks each.
Section E: The last three, Question No. 37-39, are case-based or data-based questions with two to three short sub-parts. Internal choice is provided in one of these sub-parts. The three questions carry 4 marks each.
