CBSE Class 12 Physics Exam Sample Paper 2025: The CBSE Class 12 Board Exams 2025 began on February 15, 2025, with the Entrepreneurship exam followed by the Physical Education exam on February 17. The Class 12 Board exams play a pivotal role in shaping students' higher education and career prospects. Now, the class 12 students are gearing up for the Physics exam, which is scheduled to take place on February 21.

Ahead of the Class 12 Physics exam, CBSE has released the Physics sample paper for the academic session 2024-25. This sample paper serves as a vital resource for students, offering insights into the exam pattern, question types, and marking scheme, thereby facilitating effective preparation.

Class 12 Physics Sample Paper: Exam Structure and Content

The Physics exam is structured into five sections, comprising a total of 33 questions:

Section A: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and Assertion-Reasoning Questions

Questions 1 to 16, each carrying 1 mark. This section includes twelve MCQs and four assertion-reasoning type questions.

Section B: Very Short Answer Questions

Questions 17 to 21, each carrying 2 marks.

Section C: Short Answer Questions

Questions 22 to 28, each carrying 3 marks.

Section D: Case Study-Based Questions

Questions 29 and 30, each carrying 4 marks.

Section E: Long Answer Questions

Questions 31 to 33, each carrying 5 marks.

The paper encompasses a total of 70 marks, with a time allocation of 3 hours. Internal choices are provided in one question in Section B, one question in Section C, each case study question in Section D, and all three questions in Section E, allowing students to select questions based on their strengths.

Class 12 Physics Exam Sample Paper: Key Highlights

Multiple Choice and Assertion-Reasoning Questions: These questions assess students' conceptual understanding and analytical abilities, covering fundamental principles and their applications.

Very Short and Short Answer Questions: Designed to evaluate concise explanations of concepts, these questions test the depth of students' knowledge and their ability to apply principles to various scenarios.

Case Study-Based Questions: This section presents real-world situations requiring students to analyze and apply their theoretical knowledge, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Long Answer Questions: These questions demand detailed explanations, derivations, or problem-solving approaches, allowing students to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of complex topics.
