CBSE Class 12 Result 2026 Soon: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to announce the Class 12 board results soon on its official websites. The Class 12 board examinations were conducted from February 17 to April 10, 2026.

With the 'On-Screen Marking' (OSM) system introduced this year for the digital evaluation of answer sheets, the Board aims to make the assessment process faster, more accurate, and free from human errors.

CBSE Class 12 Result 2026: Official Websites 

Candidates can check the list of official websites to view and download their Class 12 marksheets below.

-cbse.gov.in

-cbseresults.nic.in

Students can check and download their Class 12 marksheets from the official portals of the Central Board of Secondary Education, including cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in, and cbseresults.nic.in. To avoid heavy traffic on the result day, candidates may also access their digital marksheets using DigiLocker or the UMANG app.

How To Check the Result via DigiLocker, UMANG App & SMS?

Check Result via DigiLocker:

To check via DigiLocker, students need to download the app or visit digilocker.gov.in, log in using their Aadhaar or registered mobile number, navigate to the Education section, select the CBSE Class XII marksheet option, enter roll number and required details, and submit to view and download their result.

Check Result via UMANG App:

1. Download and open the UMANG App from the Google Play Store or App Store.

2. Register or log in with your mobile number.

3. Search for the Education / Results service in the app.

4. Select your exam board (CBSE or respective state board).

5. Enter your roll number and required details.
Tap “Submit” to view your result.

6. The result and marksheet will be displayed on the screen.

Check Result via SMS

1. Open the SMS app on your mobile phone.
Type the message in the format provided by the board (example):

2. RESULT <Roll Number> or CBSE12 <Roll Number>

3. Send the SMS to the official number announced by the board.

4. Within a few seconds, you will receive your result via SMS.

The board released the CBSE Class 10 result on April 15, 2026, for 24,71,777 candidates who had appeared for the examination. A total of 23,16,008 students passed the secondary school examination 2026.

Last Year, the senior secondary results were declared on May 13. The overall pass percentage stood at 88.39%.
