CBSE Supplementary Exam Registration Date 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has once again extended a crucial lifeline to thousands of students appearing for the 10th and 12th examinations in 2025. Recognizing that despite diligent effort, some students may fall short in a subject or two, or simply aspire for better marks, the board has initiated the supplementary examination process. This thoughtful provision ensures that academic journeys remain uninterrupted and students can confidently progress to their next educational stages. The notification for the 2025 supplementary examination has been officially released, welcoming both 'compartment' students and those seeking score improvement to seize this invaluable opportunity.

For those who couldn't clear the main exams or are keen on enhancing their performance in specific subjects, this is indeed a golden opportunity. The online application window commenced on May 30th and will remain open until June 17th, 2025. Students are required to complete their applications through the official CBSE website, cbse.gov.in.

It is important to note that regular students must coordinate with their respective schools for the application process, as direct individual applications are not permitted for them. This streamlined approach aims to ensure proper verification and guidance during registration.

CBSE Supplementary Exam 2025: Who Can Apply?

The supplementary examination is primarily open to students who appeared in the 2025 board exams and have received a 'compartment' in any subject. Additionally, students who successfully cleared the main examination but now aim to improve their marks in one or two subjects are also eligible to apply. This flexibility allows students to address specific academic needs and strive for a stronger overall result.

Important Exam Dates:

CBSE has announced that the supplementary examinations are scheduled to begin from July 15, 2025. The detailed timetable outlining specific subject dates and timings will be released on the official website shortly. This advance notice allows students ample time to prepare and plan their study schedules effectively.

Subjects Allowed for Exam:

For 10th-grade students, the supplementary examination option is available for a maximum of two subjects. However, for 12th-grade students, the supplementary or improvement examination is restricted to only one subject. This distinction caters to the varying academic structures and requirements of the respective grades.

Admit Card Release:

Students can anticipate the release of their admit cards in the first week of July. It is highly recommended that all applicants regularly check the CBSE website for timely updates. Staying informed ensures that no critical information, such as admit card release or any schedule changes, is missed, facilitating a smooth examination process.
