CFA Level 1 August Exams Results 2024: The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute has announced the CFA Level 1 exam results for August 2024. The results were mailed to applicants on October 8. Applicants can also assess their performance using the official website, cfainstitute.org.
According to the timetable, the CFA Level I November exam dates are November 13–19. The results for the August 2024 Level II CFA tests will be emailed on October 10 after 9 a.m., and the CFA Level 3 August 2024 results will be released on October 17. The institute declared earlier this year that level I and level 2 applicants must complete the practical skills module (PSM).
The level 1 test includes 180 multiple-choice questions divided into two 135-minute sessions. Applicants were also allowed to take an optional break between sessions. The first and second sessions each included 90 multiple-choice questions, and students had 2 hours and 15 minutes to complete them.
“August 2024 Level I CFA exam results are being emailed to candidates on 8 October 2024 after 9:00 am ET(6.30 pm Indian Standard Time [IST]),” the official website read.
While checking the CFA results, “The first thing to notice is the thin solid grey line (—). For the overall exam, this line represents the minimum passing score (MPS),” the institute said. If the thick grey line lies above the MPS line, that means the candidate has passed the exam and if the score lies below, it means they have failed. “The light blue box around your score line represents a 90% confidence interval,” it added.
