CLAT 2024 Counselling Allotment List: The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) will release the first allotment list for Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2024 counselling today, December 26, 2023. Candidates who participated in the CLAT 2024 counselling procedure can view the seat allotment list on the official website of CLAT at consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The deadline for fee payment under the CLAT 2024 first allotment list is January 2 at 1 p.m.

CLAT 2024 Counselling Allotment List: What is freeze, float and withdraw in seat allotment?

Candidates who have been assigned seats will have the opportunity to freeze, float, or exit their seats from the subsequent rounds of counselling.

Flot option

If a candidate is satisfied with the seat allotted to them and does not wish to participate in further rounds of counselling, they can choose to freeze their seat. By selecting this option, the candidate confirms their seat at the specified National Law University (NLU) and is no longer eligible for the following rounds of CLAT 2024 counselling.

Freeze option

If an applicant is dissatisfied with the seat given to them and wishes to participate in additional rounds of CLAT counselling 2024, they can float. This option allows a candidate to accept the seat that has been assigned to them while also declaring their willingness to participate in additional rounds of CLAT 2024 counselling to secure a better seat. If a candidate chooses to float and is later assigned a seat in a subsequent round, the previous round's seat is deleted.

Exit option

A candidate has the option to withdraw from the counselling process at any moment during the process. The candidate withdraws from the CLAT 2024 counselling process by selecting the exit option, and their name will no longer be considered for the following rounds of counselling.

CLAT 2024 Counselling Allotment List: How to check?

Once the CLAT 2024 counselling allotment list is out, candidates have to follow the mentioned below steps.

Step 1: Visit the official website of CLAT at consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

Step 2: After this, go to the CLAT 2024 first allotment list and login into the account with credentials.

Step 3: The CLAT 2024 counselling first allotment list will appear on the screen and check all the details carefully.

Step 4: Download the CLAT 2024 counselling first allotment list and take a printout for further reference.
