CLAT 2026 Exam: The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026 is being conducted today, December 7, by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs). The exam serves as the gateway for admissions to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programs across 25 participating NLUs nationwide. With the test scheduled for this afternoon, here are the vital details and last-minute reminders every candidate must know.

CLAT 2026 Exam: Timing and Duration

UG & PG Exam Reporting Time: Applicants have to report to the CLAT exam centre before 1 PM. They have to carry hall ticket of CLAT 2026 along with photo ID proof to their respective exam hall. Those who have not yet downloaded CLAT 2026 admit card can visit consortiumofnlus.ac.in and download their admit card at the earliest as the last time to enter CLAT exam hall is 2:15 PM, though the exam starts at 2 PM.

Exam Duration: The test will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

For PwD Candidates: An additional 40 minutes will be provided, extending their exam time to 4:40 PM.

Mandatory Documents and Dress Code: The Consortium has stipulated specific requirements for a smooth entry process:

- A printed copy of the hall ticket, downloaded from the official website consortiumofnlus.ac.in, is compulsory. Ensure all details are clear and correct.

- Carry an original government-issued ID (Aadhar Card, Passport, Voter ID, etc.) for verification.

CLAT 2026 Exam: Important Exam Day Guidelines

Only one transparent water bottle and required documents are permitted inside the exam hall.

Electronic devices (such as smartwatches, calculators, and mobile phones), bags, stationery, jewelry, and any metal objects are strictly prohibited. Storage facilities may not be available at all centers.

Special Note for Lucknow Center: Candidates allotted to the Lucknow Center should note that their center has been shifted to Lucknow Public College, A-Block, Rajajipuram. Please plan your travel accordingly.
