CSAB Special Round Counselling 2024: The Central Seat Allocation Board has started the registration portal for the CSAB 2024 special round counselling on July 31. Eligible applicants can apply for the CSAB 2024 special round of counselling at the official website, csab.nic.in. The deadline to apply for CSAB 2024 special round counselling is August 2.
Following registration, applicants must pay a special round enrolment fee of Rs 45,000 for general, general-economically weaker section (GEN-EWS), or other backward classes-non-creamy layer (OBC-NCL) applicants, and Rs 25,000 for scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), or persons with disabilities (PwD) candidates. This cost includes a non-refundable Rs 5,000 special round processing fee.
The board will hold the CSAB 2024 special round counselling in two stages. According to the official notice, applicants who have a seat in DASA-2024 will be ineligible to compete in the CSAB special rounds. To be qualified for the CSAB special rounds, these applicants must surrender or withdraw their DASA-2024 seats by the prescribed deadline.
Following the final round of the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) process, a special round will be held to fill vacant seats at the National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), and other Government-Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs).
