CTET 2026 Syllabus: The most important thing for preparing for the CTET exam is knowing the question paper pattern and syllabus. CTET Exam Pattern 2026:

The CTET consists of two papers- Paper I and Paper II. The question paper consists of multiple-choice questions, consisting of a total of 150 questions. There is no provision for negative marking.

    CTET Paper I Syllabus 2026: Comprehensive Overview

    The CTET Paper I syllabus evaluates the essential teaching aptitude required for primary level (Class 1 to 5) teachers. It covers five core subjects: Child Development & Pedagogy, two compulsory Languages (I and II), Mathematics, and Environmental Studies (EVS). The examination focuses on testing a candidate's understanding of child psychology, effective teaching methods, language comprehension, and foundational knowledge across key subjects.

    CTET Paper II Syllabus 2026: Comprehensive Overview

    The CTET Paper II focuses on assessing teaching proficiency for Classes 6 to 8. It covers four main sections: Child Development & Pedagogy, two Languages, and a choice between Mathematics & Science or Social Studies. The questions are based on NCERT content from Class VI-VIII, but can have a difficulty level up to the Senior Secondary stage.

    1. Child Development & Pedagogy (Elementary School Child)
