CUET UG 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will shortly open registration for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2024 on its official website, cuet.samarth.ac.in. The NTA will administer the CUET 2024 test in a hybrid format from May 15 to 31 for admission to central and state institutions.

According to the Indian Express, the CUET UG registration procedure for 2024 will commence tomorrow. However, the exam body has yet to issue an official CUET UG 2024 registration date. Around 250 institutions throughout the country will admit students to various first-year degree courses based on their CUET UG 2024 scores.

M Jagadesh Kumar, chairperson of the University Grants Commission (UGC), told PTI that the commission is working on conducting the CUET UG 2024 with a large number of registrations in OMR format.

“This will help us choose a large number of schools as test centres. This will ensure that the students will get a centre within their town or city and do not have to travel to faraway places," he added.

According to the PTI report, the exam would most likely be shorter in duration because the agency is considering a hybrid method that includes OMR sheets as well as a computer-based examination. The change would also ensure that most students have the opportunity to take the exam in a place of their choosing.
