CUET UG Re-Exam 2024: Following the release of the CUET UG answer key, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will address public grievances related to the CUET UG 2024 exam, received up to June 30, 2024. If a grievance is found to be genuine, the NTA will conduct the entrance examination for the affected candidates at selected centers between July 15 and July 19, 2024.
While the Common University Entrance Test was conducted in a hybrid mode (CBT and Pen & Paper), the CUET UG re-exam will only take place in CBT (Computer-Based Test) mode. Admit cards for these candidates will be issued soon.
"The NTA is also addressing the public grievances received regarding the Exam conducted for CUET (UG) – 2024 and received up to 30 June 2024. If the grievance is genuine, the NTA is committed to redoing the Exam for these Candidates at selected Centres any day between 15 to 19 July 2024,” reads the notification.
The CUET UG exam was held in a hybrid mode for the first time nationwide, but it was cancelled in Delhi the night before the exam due to logistics issues. A similar cancellation occurred at a center in Kanpur, where the distribution of incorrect question papers sparked controversy.

The NTA conducted the exam in pen and paper mode for 15 subjects and in computer-based mode for the remaining 48 subjects to minimise the normalisation process. This year, over 13.4 lakh candidates registered for the exam.
The CUET UG 2024 Exam was conducted in hybrid mode (CBT and Pen & Paper) on May 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, 24, and 29 at various examination centers in 379 cities, including 26 cities outside India. The NTA CUET UG result was initially scheduled to be declared on June 30. However, the results have been delayed amid a controversy over alleged irregularities in competitive exams, including NEET and NET.
