G20 Summit, Delhi School, Colleges Closed: In view of the G20 summit, the Delhi government has announced the closure of all educational institutions, including schools and colleges from tomorrow, September 8 till September 10, 2023. This decision aims to avoid inconvenience for the public due to traffic restrictions and events during the G20 summit. Some schools are opting for online classes to finish the syllabus. Students and parents are advised to stay in contact with the school administration to get more information about this.

The Delhi school holiday announcement was made during a press conference. “All schools, colleges, and offices will remain closed across Delhi from September 8 to September 10 because of the G20 Summit," says Delhi minister Atishi on preparations for the G20 Summit in the national capital.

The Delhi government has also asked employees of the education department to stay within the city for these four days to be available for any manpower requirements during the G20 summit.

The upcoming two-day summit, commencing this Saturday, is anticipated to have the presence of at least two dozen global leaders. This notable event is slated for September 9th to 10th and will be held at the newly built Bharat Mandapam International Convention and Exhibition Center, located at Pragati Maidan.
