DU Admissions 2025: The University of Delhi (DU) has released simulated ranks for the UG admissions 2025-26 and opened a limited-time window for candidates to edit or rearrange their college and programme preferences. The edit window will close tonight at 11:59 PM, July 16, 2025, and only saved preferences will be considered during seat allocation. These simulated ranks are tentative and not guarantees of final admission.

The first CSAS seat allocation list is scheduled for release on July 19 at 5 PM. This year, DU has received a record 3.05 lakh applications for 71,642 seats across 79 undergraduate programmes in 69 colleges. Candidates have been actively using the CSAS portal, submitting over 1.68 crore unique preferences so far.

The university has also released statistics highlighting programme popularity and top college choices. BCom (Hons) remains the most preferred programme, while Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) tops the list of colleges by first preference. Candidates applying under ECA, Sports, CW, and Performance-Based quotas must also stay alert as their trials and verification rounds begin soon.

What Candidates Can Do Before Deadline?

  • Edit, reorder, add, or delete college/programme preferences

  • Ensure all changes are saved on CSAS portal

  • Refer to simulated ranks for guidance but not as final results

  • Keep login credentials ready for July 19 seat list release

  • Visit college websites for ECA/Sports trial dates
