Delhi University Scholarship 2025-26: Delhi University (DU) has extended the deadline to submit application forms for several scholarships for the 2025-26 academic session. Applicants should visit the university's official portal to view the available scholarship rules, eligibility criteria, and detailed application process.

Eligible students can now apply through the official website until December 22, 2025, whereas the earlier deadline was November 30, 2025.

Delhi University Scholarship Eligibility Criteria (UG & PG):

Academic Performance: Minimum marks/CGPA in previous exams (e.g., 60-70% for general need-based) or high rank for merit scholarships.
Financial Need: Family income often below ₹2.5-4 Lakhs p.a. for need-based aid.

Enrollment: Full-time, bona fide DU student with a valid ID.

Attendance: Minimum 75%.

No Essential Repeats (ER): Not eligible if you have an ER in any exam.
Application: One scholarship at a time, applying via DU's portal.
Scholarship Types & Specifics

Merit-Based: For top rank holders in UG for PG courses, or high CGPA students.

Financial Support Scheme (FSS): Up to 100% fee waiver for meritorious, diverse backgrounds.

EWS/SC/ST/OBC: Concessions/scholarships for economically weaker sections and reserved categories.

Sports: For students representing DU in inter-university competitions.
DU Employees: Wards of Class III/IV staff.

Special Needs: Scholarships for blind students (e.g., Moti Lal Kaul Aima, Ram Labhaya).

Key Documents for Application (e.g., FSS):

-Income Tax Returns (ITR) of parents/siblings (FY 2024-25).

-PAN Cards.

-Undertaking form & Bonafide Certificate.

-Last exam mark sheet & Fee Receipt.

-Bank Passbook/Cancelled Cheque.

Delhi University Scholarship Details:

Delhi University offers merit and need-based scholarships. Students can go to the official website of DU to fill out the application form and submit the necessary documents. The application deadline can change. Students must check the official website for the latest updates. A few of the Delhi University scholarships are given below:

-DU Merit Scholarship is awarded to students who have achieved a high CGPA in the past academic year. The scholarship amount can change, but it can be up to INR 3,000 per month.

-DU Sports Scholarship is awarded to students who have represented DU in inter-university sports competitions. The scholarship amount can change, but it can be up to INR 2,000 per month.

-DU Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Scholarship is awarded to economically weaker students. The scholarship amount can change, but it can be up to INR 1,500 per month.

-DU SC/ST/OBC Scholarship is awarded to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), or Other Backward Classes (OBC) category students. The scholarship amount can change, but it can be upto INR 1,500 per month.
