JE Education Desk: The University of Delhi (DU) will end the common seat allocation system (CSAS) phase 1 for registration and phase 2 for filling online preferences for courses and colleges today, July 24. Applicants can register and fill in their choices of programmes and colleges on the official CSAS portal at ugadmission.uod.ac.in.
The candidates' preferences will automatically lock by July 27. Candidates were instructed by the institution to select the most preferences possible.
On July 29, the first simulated list will be released. Priorities may be changed by candidates until July 30. On August 1st, the initial CSAS allocation list will be made accessible. By August 4, candidates must 'accept' the seats that have been assigned.
The three stages of the DU CSAS procedure are application submission, program selection and preference filling, and seat allocation and admission.
DU UG Admission 2023: Here's how to fill preferences.
To fill in the preferences for phase 2, candidates have to follow the given steps.
Step 1: Visit the official CSAS portal at ugadmission.uod.ac.in.
Step 2: Now, log in yourself by entering CUET UG 2023 application number and password.
Step 3: Under the subsequent section of “Preference Selection", select and order preferences.
Step 4: The "Available Preferences" tab will provide every possible combination of program and college. Filter the colleges and programs using the "Advanced Filter" option at the top.
Step 5: Select and arrange the options in the manner you desire. The preference order will also be determined by the order of selection. The candidate can reorder their preferences by using the "Top / Bottom / Preference Number" icons.
Step 6: Find your final order of preference will appear in the ''Selected Preferences'' tab.
Step 7: Go through the preference order carefully.
Step 8: Click on ''Save Changes'' to submit the preferences.
