Twenty colleges in the Jharkhand-Bihar region are set to be connected to 5G services. This initiative includes ten colleges from each state. To implement this project, the college campuses are being integrated with Reliance Jio's 'True 5G' service. This expansion will provide all campus users with unlimited high-speed data, offered completely free of charge.
The list of Jharkhand state colleges benefiting from this 5G connectivity expansion includes Ranchi Doranda College, Daltonganj GLA College in Medininagar, Gumla BS College in Daltonganj, YSNM College in Medininagar, Hazaribagh RNYM College in Barhi, Dhanbad Katras College in Katrasgarh, Hazaribagh Annada College in Hazaribagh, Saint Columbus College in Jamshedpur, Co-operative College, and Ranchi Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University.
Service will be available in these colleges in Bihar state including Bhagalpur TNB College, Muzaffarpur LS College, Darbhanga MLSM College, Motihari Munshi Singh College, Patna RKD College, Buxar MV College, Begusarai GD College, Sasaram SP Jain College, Gaya SSY College and Samastipur College.
Currently, GLA College in Medininagar (Daltonganj), YSNM College, Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University in Ranchi, and Hazaribagh Annada College have already been connected to this 5G service.
Reliance Jio is extending its coverage to include all campus facilities, encompassing departments, auditoriums, hostels, and classrooms. This development will open up abundant opportunities for students to explore various fields, including Artificial Intelligence, Gaming, Virtual Reality, Automation, e-Governance, Engineering, and Agriculture. With the widespread availability of 5G connectivity, users will benefit from unlimited high-speed mobile data. This advancement will greatly aid students and teachers in their research endeavors and in accessing information across various subjects.
