GATE Exam 2024: The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) will introduce a new paper on data science and artificial intelligence in the 2024 academic year session. The overall number of subjects has now been increased to 30 with the introduction of the new paper including Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
According to the schedule, the GATE 2024 registration process will start on August 24, 2023. The exam will be held on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024. Once the application process will start candidates will be able to apply from the official website. Before filling out the application candidates must go through the eligibility criteria and the paper combination prescribed for the exams.
Based on the basic subject information given, GATE 2024 will consist of 30 papers, encompassing both complete papers and sectional papers. Aspiring candidates will have the flexibility to select and take either one or two test papers from the permissible combinations of two papers.
According to the eligibility criteria, candidates in the final year of their undergraduate degree programs and those who have fulfilled their degrees in fields such as engineering, technology, science, architecture, or humanities are qualified to apply their applications for the GATE 2024 examinations.

To register for the GATE 2024 will have to pay Rs 900 as an application fee for female students and SC, ST, and PwD categories candidates, these fees increase to Rs 1400 in the extended window. All other applicants, encompassing foreign nationals, are subject to fees of Rs 1800 within the regular period and Rs 2300 during the extended timeframe. Candidates will be able to do modifications to their application from November 7 to 11, 2023.
