GATE 2024: The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 registration procedure is anticipated to begin on August 30 at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. Candidates will find the GATE 2024 application link on the official website of GATE at gate2024.iisc.ac.in.

For MTech admission, eligible applicants may register for the GATE 2024 exam, which will be held on February 3, 4, and 11, 2023. The exam will be given in two sessions using computer-based testing (CBT): the morning session will run from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, and the afternoon session will run from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

GATE 2024: Exam pattern

Candidates are informed that every wrong answer will lead to a negative marking. A wrong response will result in a deduction of 1/3 of a point for a 1-mark MCQ and 2/3 of a mark for a 2-mark MCQ. However, there won't be any disqualification for incorrect responses to NAT or MSQ questions.

GATE 2024: Revised schedule

IISc Bangalore recently changed the GATE 2024 registration deadline. Here is the revised timetable.

- Expected registration date: August 30

- Last date to register: September 29

- Closing date of extended registration: October 13

- Modifications in GATE 2024 application: November 7 to 11

- Admit card download link: January 3
