GATE 2024: The Indian Institute of Science (IISc Bangalore) will end the regular registration process for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2024) today, October 12, 2023. Candidates who want to register themselves for GATE 2024 can do the same by visiting the official website of GATE at gate2024.iisc.ac.in.

GATE 2024: Application fees

Candidates can submit their applications until October 20; however, there is a late fee. The registration price for students in the general and OBC categories is Rs. 1,300, while the application fee for female applicants and those in the SC, ST, and PwD categories is Rs. 900. Candidates will have to pay Rs 500 as a late fee from tomorrow.

GATE 2024: Application correction window

Candidates may amend their applications at IIS Bangalore from November 7 to November 11. When the rectification window opens, candidates will be allowed to make the following modifications by paying a cost of Rs 500:

GATE 2024: Documents required

Candidates must upload a passport-size photo of excellent quality along with the photograph. The information leaflet lists the requirements for these photographs. It is required to submit a scanned copy of a valid photo ID, such as an Aadhar card, passport, PAN card, voter ID, or driver's license. The candidate must also upload a photo of their ID, which they must carry during the GATE 2024 exam. A category certificate, if applicable, must also be supplied.

30 subjects will participate in Gate 2024 on February 3, 4, 10, and 11. On March 16, the results will be made public, and on March 23, the scorecard will be made available. For admission to various PG programs offered by 23 Indian Institutes of Technology and IISc Bangalore, candidates must pass the Gate 2024 exam.
