Eligibility Criteria for GATE Counselling 2025:
Valid GATE Scorecard:
A GATE scorecard from 2023, 2024, or 2025 is valid.
Educational Qualification:
A bachelor's degree (B.Tech/BE/B.Arch/B.Sc/M.Sc/MCA, etc.) from a recognized university is required.
Minimum Percentage Requirement:
Candidates must have secured a minimum of 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.0 from a recognized university.
Category-Specific Criteria:
Relaxed cutoff and eligibility norms are available for reserved category candidates (ST/SC/PwD).
GATE COAP 2025 Counselling Process
Pre-Allotment Process
Register on the official COAP 2025 website.
Carefully read and follow the provided instructions.
Enter your personal details.
Click the "Submit" button.
Use the login credentials sent via Email/SMS to access the portal.
Admission Acceptance Process:
Log in to the portal.
Navigate to the Seat Allotment section to view institute-wise allotment details.
Choose one of the following options:
Accept and Freeze: Choose if you wish to accept an offer and do not want to participate in further counselling rounds.
Retain and Wait: Choose if you accept the current offer but also wish to be considered for higher preferences in upcoming rounds. Any rejected offers will not be reconsidered.
Reject and Wait: Opt for this if you do not wish to accept any offers in the current round but still want to be considered for higher preferences in future rounds.
Click the "Submit" button to proceed with the admission process.

Registration Details:
The GATE 2025 scorecard will be available from March 28 onwards.
Candidates must have their name, GATE registration number, valid GATE score, date of birth, email address, and mobile number for registration.
Qualified candidates from GATE 2023, 2024, and 2025 are eligible to register.
