GATE Result 2026 Date: GATE result 2026 will be declared on March 19, 2026, in online mode on the official website. Candidates can download the scorecard PDF using their enrollment ID or registered email ID and password. The result will be available in PDF format, having details like marks obtained, qualifying status, and paper-wise cutoff details.
IIT Guwahati conducted the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026 on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026. The GATE answer key and response sheet are still awaited. The authorities will open the objection window for candidates to raise challenges against the provisional answer key. Results will then be prepared based on the final answer key.
GATE Result 2026: Steps To Download
Candidates can download the result PDF from the official portal using their login credentials. Here is how you can check the results.
Step 1: Go to the official website at gate2026.iitg.ac.in.
Step 2: Select the “GATE Result 2026”.
Step 3: Click on the GOAPS candidate login.
Step 4: Enter your enrollment ID and password.
Step 5: The result will be displayed on the screen.
Step 6: Download the PDF and see your marks.
GATE Scorecard 2026: Release Date
IIT Guwahati will release the GATE scorecard 2026 after the announcement of results. Candidates can download their scorecards for free from March 27 to May 31, 2026, through the official website. Once this window closes, an additional fee of Rs 500 is required to download the scorecard till December 31, 2026.
The GATE scorecard 2026 will be valid for three years from the date of result declaration. It will have the following details:
Candidate’s name and registration number
Paper code and name
Marks out of 100
GATE score out of 1000
All India Rank (AIR)
Category-wise qualifying marks
Validity period
What After Declaration Of GATE Result?
After the results are declared, qualified candidates are eligible to participate in counselling and recruitment processes. The admission process includes:
COAP for MTech admissions in IITs
CCMT for NITs, IIITs and GFTIs
They can apply for various Public Service Undertakings (PSUs) through the respective PSU websites. GATE-qualified aspirants can also apply for PhD programmes and Junior Research Fellowships (JRF).
