GUJCET 2024 Exam Date: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has revised the exam date for the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2024. Candidates can check the GUJCET 2024 notification at gsebeservice.com.

According to the revised schedule, the GUJCET 2024 exam will be held on Sunday, March 31, 2024. Earlier, the examination was scheduled to be conducted on April 2, 2024. The GUJCET exam date was revised to avoid clashing with the CBSE board exam 2024.

“As CBSE board exam is held on the said date, GUJCET - 2024 exam will be held on Sunday 31/03/2024 instead of 02/04/2024. This should be noted by school principals/guardians, students, and all concerned,” read the official notification.

The GUJCET examination is conducted for students seeking admission to engineering and pharmacy courses in the science stream. GUJCET's syllabus aligns with NCERT Class 12 textbooks in physics, chemistry, mathematics, and biology. Candidates aiming for admission into pharmacy programs need to take physics, chemistry, and biology (PCB), while those pursuing BTech admission must appear for physics, chemistry, and mathematics (PCM).

Candidates will get 3 hours to attempt the question paper, allotting 60 minutes for 40 questions in each section. Each correct answer will award one mark, while an incorrect answer will deduct 0.25 marks. The exam will be conducted in English, Hindi, and Gujarati by the board.
