Haryana TET 2024: The Haryana School Education Board will start the registration process for the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) tomorrow, November 4, 2024. The last date to apply for the Haryana TET 2024 will be November 14, 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for the Haryana TET 2024 at bseh.org.in.

Candidates can edit their applications from November 15 to November 17, 2024. The permitted changes will include the candidate’s details, such as signature, thumb impression, photo, choice of subject (for Levels 2 and 3), caste category, disability category, and home state.

According to the schedule, the HTET 2024 exam will be held on December 7, 2024, for Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) positions, and on December 8, 2024, for Primary Teacher (PRT) and Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) positions. The HTET will be conducted in offline mode (pen-and-paper).

Haryana TET 2024: Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria differ for the PRT, PGT, and TGT positions. For PGT roles, candidates must possess a B.Ed. or an equivalent degree with a minimum of 50 per cent marks. TGT applicants are required to have a B.Ed. degree in addition to a graduation degree in the relevant subject. For PRT positions, candidates should have completed their senior secondary education (12th grade) with at least 50 per cent marks or be in the final year of a two-year DElEd course. Moreover, the minimum age to apply for the HTET exam is 18 years, while the maximum age limit is set at 38 years.

The Board of School Education, Haryana, conducts the Haryana TET exam to evaluate the eligibility of candidates aspiring to teach classes I to XII in government schools throughout Haryana. The exam consists of three levels: Level 1 is for Primary Teachers (Classes 1 to 5), Level 2 is for Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) for Classes 6 to 8, and Level 3 is for Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) for Classes 9 to 12. Candidates who pass the exam will receive an HTET certificate, which is valid for a lifetime.

Step 2: Click on the link HTET 2024 Registration

Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen and candidates will have to enter the required details

Step 4: Fill out the HTET 2024 application form and click on the submit button
